Road Trip, Part 2, Day 14, Thursday - Arcata, CA to Portland, OR

Continuing on without a plan, we drove the coast of Oregon up to Portland. Not too much to say about the day. Up and down, back and forth, winding, winding, winding. Truth be told, I was sorta on the look-out for some retirement ideas but came up empty. The places I thought were lovely, were a little too remote - where would I get groceries, how long would it take and what would I do with the rest of my time? I’ve already decided I’m no good at arts or crafts or gardening or the like. The places that were more convenient, just weren’t as beautiful as I imagined. So, we pulled into Portland near bedtime to a clean and non-pot-smelling room!
